Jordan Beane
The son of a special education teacher and career civil servant in Upstate New York, Jordan learned firsthand the difference that those in public service can make in people’s lives.

District 2
District 2 is more than meets the eye. It’s not just a place to watch the sunset, rent a paddleboard or eat a fish taco. It’s home to over 140,000 San Diegans, two types of endangered birds and the only roller coaster in the United States to be on the National Register of Historic Places.
It was the first place Europeans came ashore in California and the starting point for Charles Lindbergh’s famous transatlantic flight. Duke Kahanamoku introduced San Diego to surfing at Ocean Beach. Eddie Vedder lived here. So did Cameron Crowe. For over 100 years It’s a place to call home, raise a family and thrive. Let’s work together to ensure our future is brighter than our past.
